How To Make Chicken Qorma

 


Chicken qorma is a traditional dish from the Indian subcontinent, typically made with chicken, yogurt, and a blend of spices. Here is a basic recipe for making chicken qorma:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (or to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions:

  1. heat the oil and add the chopped onions. Cook until they turn golden brown.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until it turns white.
  4. Add the ground cumin, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
  5. Add the yogurt and stir until it is well mixed with the chicken and spices.
  6. Cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve with rice or chapati.

Note: you can add some more ingredients like cashews, Almonds, and cream to make it more creamy and rich in taste.
